thank u for the forgotten memories of babenhausen. I was stationed in babenhausen from mar 1959 until march 1961. I was assigned to the 134th bakery company and attached to the 14th quartermaster battalion in personnel as an officers record clerk. I married a german lady and we just celebrated our 51st wedding aniversary. We were in babenhausen last march for a month. we go back every 2 years to visit my wifes mother of 97 years old.. the town sure seams less populated without any army personnel . I also would like to here from any personnel who was stationed in the above units.
